Feature :

• Universal 3 pole 12 volt starter solenoid.
• Accommodates both 5/16" and 1/4" Top terminal connections.
• Chassis (bottom) or wall (side) mount.

Overview :

Some solenoids have 4 terminals and others have three. One of the large top terminals is connected to the battery, the other is connected to the starter. The small terminal has 12 volts applied when the ignition switch is turned to start. Unlike 4 terminal solenoids this one grounds from the mounts, 4 terminal solenoids have a 4th terminal that is the ground.
